To sign up, simply click on the Register link at the top right under the title of the page and fill out the form in accordance with the instructions below.
- 1. In order to register for an account you must agree that you are at least 18 years of age.
2. Enter your desired user name. We prefer that you use your actual first and last names, but you are welcome to choose any ID you like, provided that you indicate your actual name in your default signature for your posts.
3. Enter a valid E-mail address. Confirmation that you can receive mail at this address is verified before your account is activated.
4. Enter a password you would like to use for the forum. Please remember your selected password. The administrator cannot access this password should you forget it, but it can be reset if necessary.
5. Enter the alphanumeric code displayed on the registration form. This is used to prevent mass registration requests from malware scripts.
6. Fill out the Profile Information section, providing only information you are comfortable sharing. It is strongly recommended that you define a default signature at the bottom of this section to make it easier to identify yourself when posting.
7. Review the default options in the Preferences section and change any options that you like including the timezone (GMT - 6 Hours in Plano, TX).
Once you have filled out the required information, press the Submit button. Your E-mail address must be verified and the forum administrator must approve your membership in order for your user ID to be activated. You will be notified by E-mail once this process is complete.
